Today, I watched the largest branch of a large tree break and fall. It fell through the air and splintered on impact with a loud crash. No reason. Just mystery.

the feral ascendent is a vivid account of everything that is wrong. and exactly that, because you can assume that nothing is right. if things were already right, the writer would only humor us with fiction. that is not the case. the feral ascendent is very much a work of non-fiction, i assure you.
